Robotic Touch Course
Robotic Touch is a course for those who want to have a "First Touch" with robotic Surgery Platforms, to learn the basics of Robotic Surgery and to have an initial experience on the Robot console.
This is a course for year 4 to 6 General Surgery, Ginecology, Urology and Pediatric Surgery Residents or Specialists that are registered to the nest edition of the Advanced Touch.
RT is the 7th step of the FT Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Program and its obligatory to be able to attend the Advanced Touch (Advanced laparoscopy and robotic surgery in live animal)
The objectives of the Robotic Touch Course are:
1 - Have an initial contact with the robotic surgery platform
2 - Learn the basics of Robotic Surgery
3 - Learn and train basic gestures on the Surgeon Console
4 - Perform virtual exercises and Simulate surgical procedures on dry-lab models
